We are surveyors and consultants in the marine leisure sector. The business is managed by Des Tyrrell.
A member of the Arklow boatbuilding family, Des first qualified as a shipwright and later as a naval architect. He is also a very experienced and successful dinghy sailor and an offshore yachtsman. He has designed and built a range of boats from successful racing dinghies to sailing yachts to motor yachts to fishing boats and was also involved in the construction of the famine ship “Dunbrody”. We offer our clients a range of services including general condition
surveys for insurance purposes, pre-purchase surveys, damage reports and managing boat restoration and re-build projects.

We work closely with the NewRoss Boatyard and Leinster Boats and we have acted as Marine Superintendents when the “Dunbrody” has been dry-docked.
